Final Fantasy V was originally released at Super Famicom in Japan in 1992. Initially a game location was planned for Super Nintendo, but the level of difficulty of the game led to final Fantasy VI being prioritized, instead. After several failed attempts to launch the game outside of Japan, it was finally launched for the original PlayStation in 1999 as part of Final Fantasy. Since then, the game has received ports on multiple platforms, with final fantasy v pixel remaster being the last example.

Unfortunately for console users, Square Enix has not yet offered any potential information about the ports for any of these pixel remasters. Taking into account the roots of the Final Fantasy franchise on the console, it looks like a secure bet that these versions will inevitably be launched on the PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox platforms, but there is simply no way to say it with certainty at the moment. For now, the series fans will only have to wait patiently or see the versions in Steam as they launched. It is impossible to say that as well final fantasy v pixel remaster will end up being, but if the game maintains the strong quality of the original, the wait will be worth it. At least this time, fanatics probably will not have to wait years for it to happen!
