Berwyn Price (36) has attacked with a cryptic Instagram post alleged disturbing fans in his defeat in the quarterfinals of Darts World Cup in London against Michael Smith.
In his story, the chronic world champion released a thumb up to a black background and the word cheats, which means as much as scammers in German. Just before the end of the game, Price had a recording interrupted and shown in exchange with the referee on a group of fans in the audience that irritates him, allegedly.
Price is traditionally unpopular at the fans outside his home country Wales, which should probably have to do with his aggressive behavior and cheering cries on the stage. At the game on Saturday he was laid out again and again. The fans solidi zed with his English opponent Smith, but he also had to fight with disturbances from the ranks. Someone from behind constantly called my name, that brought me out too, he said after the game.
