Football Bundesligist 1. FC Cologne and Alexander Wehrle have agreed to a final schedule of their separation. Wehrle will be denied his last working day as managing director of the FC on 12 March, the contract will then expire on 20 March. That shared the Rhineland on Wednesday.
Wehrle, who is known in the course of April as well as new board leader at VFB Stuttgart, had been incorporated since January the new commercial FC Managing Director Philipp dooroff.
“We want to enable Alexander Wehrle a very appreciative farewell. He has his great professionalism, with which he has shaped the 1st FC Cologne in recent years, also demonstrated in this phase. He has organized the handover very well”, will FC President Werner Wolf quotes in a press release.
With Wehrles, the dooroff will leave the sole responsibility in the management of the Cologne for a short time. In early April, this is extended by Christian Keller, which will take care of the Football Bundesligisting area. In the medium term, the association wants to establish a third managing director in the management level.
