The Gamescom will again have a physical event in its edition of 2022.
The German event organization has revealed that the Koelnmesse enclosure of Cologne will accept the face-to-face part of the event, opening for the public between August 24 and 28.
The physical event, which will be accompanied by a digital event like that of the last two years, will have all the necessary sanitary and security measures. The organization, in fact, has explained that in this edition the number of entries that will be sold will be more limited than on other occasions.
La GamesCom 2022 will start on August 23 with the issuance of the Gamescom Opening Night Live. The next day, on August 24, the enclosure will open only for members of the industry, specialized press and content creators. Finally, from August 25 to 28, the Fair will open for the general public.
Felix Falk, the Director of the Game (German Games Industry Association) has declared that “all the fans and partners of the Gamescom have been waiting for this for two years: the Gamescom will finally return to the colony pavilions. This year we are going to combine The best of two worlds: our extensive digital program along with the incomparable physical experience of the GameScom “.
