Much of the replayability of former Borderlands games were the versions of a new game plus mode – the modes True Vault Hunter and Ultimate Vault Hunter. You can essentially repeat the campaign with enemies that scale at higher levels or with their own, so they can play the game with their maximum equipment. Your playback value was also important when it came to quest rewards. So Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a new game plus?
Is there a new Game Plus in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?
Unfortunately, does not seem to give a kind of New Game Plus or a true Vault Hunter mode in Wonderlands. Even if that may be a disappointment for many, they do not feel so.
Many experienced veterans repeating the campaigns from these Gearbox games, play mainly with the intention of getting prey, which only falls once per run (like the pearl of indescribable knowledge from Borderlands 3 or Sandhawk from Borderlands 2). It seems like Gearbox considered this. Now quest rewards can be purchased to vending machines!
Since there is no New Game Plus, the question arises as to whether enemies scales from previous areas or not. In Wonderlands enemies, despite their level or story progress, scales them based on their level. You can return to the beginning of the game or connect friends that just started, and have set your games on cooperation. The level of enemies will be the same with your level.
Of course, the opportunity to repeat the campaign is beautiful just to experience the story again without starting from the beginning. Hopefully Gearbox can implement a story reset or repeatable TVHM mode, just to address people who want to explore, but want to maintain their other progress.
Tiny Tinas Wunderland is now available for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X / S and PC via Epic Games.
