Epic Boss says that Playstation 5 is “a remarkably balanced device” and “will help fly the future PCs”

According to Tim Sweeny, CEO of EPIC, Playstation 5 is a “remarkably balanced device”, and its storage architecture “will help control future PCs.” Although it is not necessarily a new shocking, it confirms that there is no doubt that the PS5 will be an impressive machine.

As reported by WCCFTECH, following the announcement of the Unreal Engine 5 and the impressive technological demo of today, Tim Sweeny commented on the new generation console of Sony, claiming that it is A remarkably balanced device, with “an immense amount of GPU power, but also an increase in multi-order bandwidth in storage management” that will be absolutely critical.

Sweeny was clearly impressed and said:

“The storage architecture on the PS5 is well ahead of everything you can buy on anything on PC for any amount of money right now. This will help fly the future PCs. [The PC market] will see this thing shipped and say, “Oh wow, SSDs will have to catch up.”

Despite everyone in the industry amazed by technology, including Epic’s boss, Sony has been very discreet on the next generation console. They have not yet revealed the design of the console and have barely scratched the surface with regard to the functionality of the PS5. In addition, an exit date has not been confirmed yet. That said, all signs indicate an exit for Holiday 2020 and no official information indicates the opposite.
