Apex Legends, like all Royal Battle Style Games, has a plethora of weapons to choose, but in this pool of choice, certain weapons have several integrated shooting modes. Some of these options are always available, while others require an additional element. Button B will always be what makes the shooting mode switch, and there are some basic rules.
- Havoc rifle
- rifle R-301 and VK-47 Flatline
- G7 Scout
- Hemlok BURST AR
- Eva-8 Auto
- PROWLER-SMG
- Sentinel
- Assault rifles
- Other weapons
- Any weapon with an exploded mode of fire will also have another mode
- Each assault rifle has several modes of fire
- No light pistol or machine gun has several fuel modes
Here is how all the operating modes decompose.
Assault rifles
Havoc rifle
Item required: Selectfire receiver
Basic firemode: AUTO
Alternative shooting mode: single
The unique fire mode for the havoc is a single loaded shot which has a larger radius and can inflict more than double the amount of damage to a normal havoc shot. This shooting mode is difficult to use, almost comparable to a hunting rifle.
You must press “B” to select this mode after acquiring the hop-up.
rifle R-301 and VK-47 Flatline
Article required: None
Basic firemode: AUTO
Alternative shooting mode: single
The R-301 and the flatline are almost identical in terms of fire modes. Automatic shooting is much more effective, but there is only one fire mode if you are extremely low in ammunition or if you do not want to do too much scene when you treat a blow.
G7 Scout
Required article: Doubletap Trigger
Basic firemode: single
Alternative shooting mode: burst
The G7 Scout is the only AR that uses a single fire mode by default, probably because it was used as a sniper rifle. However, the exploded fire mode draws two quick back to back and can be the additional firepower you need in the battlefoot.
Ce mode is automatically selected after the acquisition of hop-up.
Hemlok BURST AR
Article required: None
Basic firemode: burst
Alternative shooting mode: single
Hemlok is the only AR that uses a burst Firemode mode by default. The fast shot bursts 3 shots, which can cause serious damage, but if it is too unruly for you, try the only integrated fire mode. It will have you press the shooting button as quickly as possible, but it can leave you more precise on your target.
Other weapons
Eva-8 Auto
Required article: Doubletap Trigger
Basic firemode: AUTO
Alternative shooting mode: burst
Like the G7 Scout, the EVA-8 shot rifle requires that the double-tape trigger becomes a broken weapon. But due to the nature of the EVA-8, if you maintain the shot key, the gusts will also be automated. It is the only exploded weapon of the game to allow an automated shot.
Ce mode is automatically selected after the acquisition of hop-up.
PROWLER-SMG
Item required: Selectfire receiver
Basic firemode: burst
Alternative shooting mode: AUTO
The PROWLER is the only pistol in the game to have an alternative fire mode which is significantly more effective than its basic mode. The automatic fire mode on the prowler is quick but easier to handle than the R-99, and is extremely deadly in close combat. If you are looking for a hidden gem, that’s it.
You must press “B” to select this mode after acquiring the hop-up.
Sentinel
Required article: 2 shield cells
Basic firemode: single
Alternative shooting mode: accused
It is the only sniper rifle that has two ways to shoot and is not a rocking like other options. Instead, if you press “B” while you have at least two shield cells in your inventory. You will use up to 2 cells and temporarily recharge the weapon, allowing a shooting to inflict up to 125 damage to the body shield of an enemy.
Many players may think that they know their favorite weapons, but have you explored all the possibilities that each weapon has to offer? Maybe a weapon you have transmitted in the past could be your raw diamond.
